Tom Nicoll is a Scottish writer and director, whose films have screened at festivals including Palm Springs ShortFest, Tallinn Black Nights, and Edinburgh International Film Festival. His work has received Vimeo Staff Picks, and been shown on online film channels Alter and Short Of The Week.
He has had a short film funded through Creative Scotland’s SFTN Emerging Talent Scheme which screened on the BBC, and is in funded development for a feature film with Screen Scotland. In 2023, Tom won the Outstanding Comedy Award at The Pitch Film Fund and attended the Berlinale Talents campus at the Berlin Film Festival.
Tom is a member of the European Film Academy, Bafta Connect and Directors UK.
